How to add Brume 2 into GLiNet Mobile App?¶
You can add your Brume 2 (GL-MT2500/GL-MT2500A) into the GLiNet Mobile App even if it has no Wi-Fi feature. You can either set it as the main router or the secondary router.
The following methods are also applicable to Brume (GL-MV1000).
Brume 2 as the Secondary Router¶
Topology
Here we have Slate AX (GL-AXT1800) as the main router and Brume 2 (GL-MT2500) as the secondary router.

-
Log in to your Brume 2 web Admin Panel, go to SYSTEM -> Security -> Open Ports on Router, open port 80.

For some older models, go to Firewall -> Open Ports on Router, open port 80.

-
Log in to main router and mark down the WAN IP of Brume 2

-
Connect a phone to the Wi-Fi of your main router.
-
Launch the glinet App and click Add New Device.
-
Then click Initialized Devices.
-
Input the WAN IP you found in the main router before.
-
Input the login password of Brume 2.
Now your Brume 2 will show up in the glinet mobile App.
Brume 2 as the Main Router¶
Topology

-
Log in to your secondary router, which is GL-AXT1800 in this case, and set it in Access Point mode.

-
Connect a phone to the Wi-Fi of your secondary router.
-
Launch the glinet App and click Add New Device.
-
Select your main router.
-
Click Next
-
If you are still connecting to the secondary router's Wi-Fi, just wait. If not, re-connect to the secondary router's Wi-Fi.
-
Input the login password of Brume 2.
Now your Brume 2 will show up in the glinet mobile App.
