Internet

Log in to the web Admin Panel and go to INTERNET.

The top half features a diagram showing the Internet status, and the bottom half lists four or five Internet access methods (availability varies by model).

The left side of the diagram shows the current Internet status.

  • A solid green line means the network connection is active.
  • A dashed gray line means no network connection.
  • A solid white line with a yellow exclamation mark means connected but no Internet access.

The middle of the diagram displays the current router model and the status of AdGuard Home, IPv6, VPN, Tor, 5G Main Wi-Fi, 2.4G Main Wi-Fi, 5G Guest Wi-Fi and 2.4G Guest Wi-Fi.

  • Green indicates the feature is enabled, gray indicates disabled. For VPN and Tor, white means connecting.
  • Hover your cursor over an enabled Wi‑Fi icon to display its Wi‑Fi QR code. You can scan it with your phone or tablet to connect to the corresponding Wi‑Fi network quickly.

The right side of the diagram shows the devices (Clients) connected to the router.

  • Wirelessly connected devices are shown in the upper section, and wired devices in the lower section.
  • The numbers next to each section indicate the number of connected devices.

Internet Access Methods

There are up to four Internet access methods. Please refer to the corresponding tutorials below, or get started with the Setup Wizard.

Setup Wizard

The setup wizard has been available since firmware v4.7

On the INTERNET page, click the book icon in the top right corner.

Follow the setup wizard to configure your router to get internet access.

If using the GL.iNet app, please follow the on-screen prompts to set up internet access.
