NextDNS¶

NextDNS protects you from all kinds of security threats, blocks ads and trackers on websites and in apps and provides a safe and supervised Internet for kids — on all devices and on all networks.

NextDNS is available on GL.iNet routers since version 3.200.

Support models:

GL-AR750S-EXT, GL-AR750, GL-MT300N-V2, GL-AR300M series, GL-AR150 series, GL-MiFi, GL-E750, and GL-X750.

Register NextDNS Account¶

Go to NextDNS web site, then sign up an account.

Setup NextDNS on GL.iNet router¶

On the left side of web Admin Panel -> MORE SETTINGS -> Custom DNS Server

Enable DNS over TLS(Cloudflare or NextDNS), then select NextDNS.

Go back to NextDNS website, add New endpoint.

Input your endpoint name, click Create

Then you can get all necessary information of your new endpoint. Copy the ID in your configuration.

Go to your GL Admin Panel, then input the ID below NextDNS.

Apply settings.

Okay, now you can login your NextDNS account to make all settings and check real-time Analytics data.
