Can I add Brume2 into GLiNet Mobile App¶
You can add your Brume2(GL-MT2500/GL-MT2500A) into GLiNet Mobile App even it has no WiFi connection. You can either have your Brume2 being the main router or have it sitting as secondard router.
The following methods are also applicable to Brume (GL-MV1000).
Brume2 as your secondary Router¶
Topology¶
Login your Brume2 admin panel and open port 80 with the side bar Firewall Open Ports on Router¶
Login GL-AXT1800 and mark down the WAN IP of Brume2¶
Connect your mobile to the WiFi of your Main Router, in this example is GL-AXT1800-308-5G¶
Launch the Mobile App and tab Add New Device¶
Then tab Initialized Devices¶
Input the WAN IP you found in GL-AXT1800 before¶
Input the login password of Brume2¶
You Brume2 now will show up in the Mobile App
Brume2 as your Main Router¶
Topology¶
Login your secondard router, this time is GL-AXT1800 and set in into Access Point mode¶
Connect your mobile to the WiFi of your Access Point, in this example is GL-AXT1800-308-5G¶
Launch the Mobile App and tab Add New Device¶
Select the picture of GL-MT2500¶
Tab Next¶
If you saw it is still connecting to the Access Point WiFi, just wait. If not, reconnect your mobile to Access Point WiFi¶
Input the login password of Brume2¶
You Brume2 now will show up in the Mobile App
